Easy Walking/HikingThis category is for people who want leisure combined with a fair amount of adventure. In this we include village walks to hiking up to 2 days. Not strenuous, it is a pleasant walks enjoying the Himalayan way of life. It is recommended for senior citizens and small children or some who just don’t want to sweat too much. There are no dangers of altitude sickness and will be done in altitudes under 2000 meters.Moderate TrekkingThis is the category from where we start the term ‘trekking’. It will cover trekking up to 4000 meters. There is a moderate possibility of altitude sickness therefore it is advised to have a certain level of fitness. A regular walker or jogger can easily manage though. A good supply of personal trekking equipment is advised. Good trekking shoes, warm clothing, down feather sleeping bag withstanding up to – 15 Degrees is recommended, fleece wears, down feathers clothing, walking sticks etc are a must.
